With my new sailboat Phywave I departed solo (single-handed) from Norfolk, Virginia,  in the United States on August 2, 2022, and followed a route that took  me to all 7 continents and around the world.  With my arrival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, on January 29, 2025, I completed my solo voyage and became the first person in history to both fly and sail solo to all the continents.
